Raahentienoon Golf
Raahentienoon Golf course is located near the village of Siikajoki about 20 km from Raahe. For the most part, it is dominated by flat terrain, but there are also water hazards and sand bunkers than are a test even for the experienced golfer. The 18-hole parkland is divided into two 9-hole sections.
The first one was opened in 1990 and is more spacious, which makes it a great place for skilled players capable of long-distance shots. The narrower yard was opened in 2005 in a forested setting. It is the favorite location of beginners. Also, it is used for training purpose.
The playing season lasts from early spring to late fall. Thanks to bright summer nights, in June and July you can play all night long. In ordinary months, the golf club is open from 10AM to 6PM. The facilities include golf cart, trolleys, locker rooms and sauna.
Moreover, nearby the course is a restaurant where you can have a snack or a meal in a laid-back atmosphere. You can find there a variety of golf accessories. The restaurant is open every day from 10AM to 6PM.
